How Our Plumbers Can Inspect Your Pipes

Monday, February 27th, 2017

light-at-end-of-pipeIf, for some reason, a hole were to develop in the wall of your home, it would be a pretty obvious problem, right? Your walls are quite visible, you’d feel a draft or hot spot, and so on. When holes develop in parts of the house and its systems that are hidden from view, though, things are substantially more complicated. This is why leaks in your pipes are so serious. It is also why you should contact us the moment that you suspect that you have a piping problem. We offer video camera pipe inspection services in Phoenix, AZ.

Once you schedule service with our plumbers, we can use our video camera pipe inspection equipment for a variety of different purposes. Of course, you need to schedule service first, and that means recognizing that there is a problem to begin with. Following is some information about how the service works, as well as what it may be used for and when to schedule pipe inspection.

The Sunny Plumber Donates Essential Plumbing Services to Valley Residents

Local plumbing company donates water heaters, pipes and plumbing services to provide safe living for low-income seniors through FSL grants

PHOENIX (Feb. 20, 2017) – Peoria resident, Marie Szolwinski did not have a fully-functioning kitchen for several months, a sink that repeatedly plugged up for years and leaking pipes eventually caused holes in the nearby living room floor, due to repeated water damage.

North Phoenix resident Peggy Legrande had no hot water for weeks, unable to wash dishes or enjoy a nice hot shower. The Sunny Plumber, in partnership with the Foundation for Senior Living (FSL), has donated new gas and electric water heaters as well as copper re-piping and plumbing services to five area residents including Szolwinski and Legrande over the past several months from $100,000 in grants donated by the plumbing company to support local senior home improvements.

FSL supports qualifying seniors whose homes need repairs and renovations. The non-profit organization manages the full cycle of repair to include funding, contracting, and permitting. These improvements enable seniors to continue to live safely and comfortably, with dignity in their homes.

“As we experience our own parents aging, we became more aware of the need many seniors, who live on limited fixed incomes, have with severe plumbing and heating/cooling problems in their homes” said Gary Eisenhauer, general manager at The Sunny Plumber. “We are grateful there are organizations like FSL who will manage donations and repairs for seniors who are living in deteriorating environments.”

Katie Martin, program director for FSL agrees and said that the donation by The Sunny Plumber enables the non-profit organization to provide essential services to seniors throughout metro Phoenix.

“Most of our clients are on limited fixed incomes and when they have serious plumbing issues, it can cause them not to have water in their home without the resources to repair them. Often, they end up living in unsafe conditions and it can take 3-5 months for them to go through the funding process. These funds will allow us to respond immediately to these situations and use our other funding for less immediate needs,” she said.

What Causes Sewer Line Damages?

The faucets that provide you with quick access to potable water? The shower, or the toilet in the bathroom? Chances are that the first thing to spring to mind would not be your sewer line. While you will—hopefully—never have to see your sewer line or directly interact with it, though, you have to keep in mind just how vital this component of your plumbing system really is.

All of the water and waste that enters the drainage system in your home is removed from your property via this sewer line. If you encounter any kind of problems with your sewer, you will come to realize quickly just how incredibly inconvenient this situation can be. In some cases, damages to the sewer line may require a full replacement. But how could your sewer line in Phoenix, AZ come to be damaged, anyway? There are actually a number of potential causes for sewer line damages.
